In a unexpected partnership that breaks conventional forecasts, Ubisoft has revealed an digital partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, including no-cost additional story content for Shadows players.
Peculiar Mission Disclosed
According to the official announcement, "An unusual encounter leads heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a new quest, where hints of prohibited rituals and terrifying metamorphoses echo through the shadows." The narrative introduces a "oddly garbed woman named Ada" who assigns the duo with traveling into the Crystalline Cavern—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her friend from a hidden sect.
The adventure concentrates on "bizarre experiments and a terrifying adversary" and is accessible to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.
Familiar Locations and Transformations
The preview features the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This important location was previously where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The preview concludes with a striking moment showing a character, likely the prisoner, transforming into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.
Special Prizes and Extra Features
Players who finish the quest will acquire an special katana together with multiple items hidden throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also includes premium Attack on Titan item packs, including:

This release also adds the game's third free story content, titled "The Enigma."
